LT
Perskaitęs šią žinutę pabandžiau porą uždavinių atšaukti (nes skaičiuoti lyg ir nebėra prasmės). Rezultatas - žaibiškai gavau juos atgal į tą patį kompiuterį.
Prie ko lenkiu? Jei ruošiatės tobulinti serverio kodą, reikėtų uždrausti tokį pakartotiną siuntimą tam pačiam kompiuteriui.
Sėkmės!

I am talking about possibility to block in the future such situation - the tasks from the same WU are sent to the same host.

Afaik. sending it to the same host is not an option, BOINC should not do that at all because it violated the validation concept.

But if that's not the case (which would mean, that something is broken), this should help :

http://www.boinc-wiki.info/Project_Configuration_File

look for "one_result_per_user_per_wu" there

We do not use replication for validation. However, I missed this possibility with the canceled tasks returning to the same host. I have included the according option into project configuration to avoid this happening in the future.

To avoid possible wrong interpretations...
Dear friends!
Do not use Google translator or similar to translate from Lithuanian!!! This is not working...
Example.
"Prie ko lenkiu?" Google translator gives a translation "Why do you Polish?"
In reality.
"Prie ko lenkiu?" = "What I mean?" or word by word "In which [direction] I am bending [the tree]?"
And of course, Best regards and big respect to all crunchers from our neighboring country Poland! :-)
